This Week ROSTR Celebrates Birthday with Launch of EARLY Showcase
A new showcase series connecting emerging artists with the industry’s key tastemakers
ROSTR is marking its birthday with the debut of EARLY, a new live performance initiative created in collaboration with Bandsintown. The series reimagines the traditional artist showcase as a high-impact discovery platform for the next wave of talent.
The details:
The first edition of EARLY takes place Thursday, October 16 in Los Angeles, bringing together 400 invited industry guests - from labels and managers to agents and publishers - for a night of discovery, connection, and celebration.
The Lineup:
Alex Bone – genre-blurring saxophonist and producer blending jazz and electronica
PAMÉ – bilingual powerhouse vocalist fusing Latin pop, R&B, and global sounds
Bruvvy – Miami rock band channeling raw, high-octane live performance energy
Kinder – Ghanaian-Australian DJ duo delivering Afro-electronic house energy
Why it matters:
For years, ROSTR has helped connect the people who work behind the scenes in music. EARLY brings that same mission to the live space — giving artists a credible stage in front of decision-makers who can change their careers.
Through Bandsintown’s promotional network, each EARLY artist will gain global visibility, while ROSTR’s own editorial and social platforms will amplify the performances to tens of thousands of industry professionals.
What they said:
Mark Williamson, Co-Founder and CEO, ROSTR: “ROSTR’s mission has always been to support the people who work with artists. With EARLY, we’re extending that mission into the live space - creating independent opportunities for emerging artists to connect directly with the industry professionals who can help them take the next step.”
Fabrice Sergent, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Bandsintown:“Establishing meaningful industry connections is a real challenge for developing artists. EARLY embodies the kind of independent showcase platform that creates real value and opportunity.”
The big picture:
ROSTR plans to roll out EARLY as a recurring series in 2026, pairing live performance with online visibility to turn one night of shows into weeks of industry attention and opportunity.
The October event is also supported by Please & Thank You, Believe/Sentric, beatBread & BMI.
