Sony Music Publishing (SMP) has officially expanded into the Philippines. Stephanie Ortiz will run the new office as General Manager of SMP PH, effective immediately.

Ortiz will report to Sony Music Publishing President, Asia, Roslyn Pineda.
This branch will be a hub for songwriters based in the Philippines while establishing new creative and commercial opportunities for SMP as a whole.
SMP PH’s roster is launching with Ben&Ben, SB19’s John Paulo Nase, Josh Cullen Santos, Justin de Dios, O Side Mafia, and more.
A statement describes this new venture as a “strategic expansion dedicated to the development and promotion of Filipino songwriters both locally and around the world.”
