EARLY Preview: Alex Bone
Meet the UK-born multi-instrumentalist redefining electronic music with soulful saxophone, feel-good energy, and genre-blurring production
At ROSTR's debut EARLY showcase on October 16 in LA, Alex Bone takes the stage in front of hundreds of music-industry professionals. Time to get acquainted.
Who they are:
Alex Bone is a UK-born, LA-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and performer who’s bridging the worlds of jazz musicianship and modern electronic music. Raised in the small town of Darlington, he grew up playing piano before he could walk and mastering saxophone soon after - while secretly obsessing over Fatboy Slim albums and Ministry of Sound compilations. That duality has defined his path ever since. By 17, he’d won the BBC Young Musician Jazz Award, while his productions and remixes were already turning heads at Parlophone and Spinnin’ Records. His evolving sound has since led to collaborations with icons like Nile Rodgers, Tom Misch, and Cory Wong, and viral sax-driven performances that have earned millions of views across platforms.
The lane:
Think soulful, instrument-led electronic music that feels just as at home in a packed festival tent as it does in a late-night jazz club. Alex’s sound merges infectious beats, smooth saxophone textures, and an uplifting melodic core - channeling the warmth of live performance through the precision of electronic production. His sets are immersive, high-energy, and deeply musical, blurring the lines between house, funk, and future jazz - a sonic signature that’s resonating across continents as he tours the US, Europe & Asia.

Alex is currently fully independent.
