EARLY Preview: Bruvvy
Meet the Miami-born LA-based rock band bringing raw energy, gritty guitars, and unapologetic attitude to the modern rock revival.
At ROSTR's debut EARLY showcase on October 16 in LA, Bruvvy takes the stage in front of hundreds of music-industry professionals. Time to get acquainted.
Who they are:
Bruvvy is a Miami-born, Los Angeles-based four-piece rock band channeling the raw spirit of classic grunge and punk through a modern lens. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist and guitarist Liz Varnum alongside bassist Paula Bunich, guitarist Nelson Gonzalez, and drummer Juan Cabrera, the group formed in 2019 and quickly carved a name for themselves with their unapologetically loud, high-voltage sound. Inspired by icons like Nirvana and The Go-Go’s, Bruvvy fuse fierce musicianship with an infectious sense of rebellion - turning every live show into a cathartic, sweat-drenched release.
The lane:
Think hook-filled, distortion-soaked rock that thrives in small rooms packed with energy and attitude. Bruvvy’s sound captures the chaos and charm of the ʼ90s alternative era while pushing it forward with fearless female-led edge and pop sensibility. They belong on the kind of stage where amps hum, beer spills, and the crowd sings every word - embodying the visceral, unfiltered side of the modern LA rock revival. For fans at EARLY, expect a set that’s loud, messy, and impossible to ignore.
Team & partners:
Bruvvy is managed by Gary Walker of Monotone Management & Shabnam Mohammad of 724 Management and is booked by Alex Douma of CAA.
