The co-venture will support independent electronic music venues around the world.
The Beatport Group (TBG), the global electronic music company, has announced a new joint venture with the alcohol brand Miller Genuine Draft (MGD) to financially support grassroots electronic music venues around the world. The fund will provide €60,000 spread across four countries: Turkey, Hungary, Georgia, and Australia.

All four countries will receive €15,000.
Venues in each nation will apply for the funds.
The application for venues based in Hungary will be open from July 30 to August 27, and Turkey’s will be open from August 4 to September 3.
Dates for Georgia and Australia have yet to be announced.
Independent venues in 2025:
Electronic music venues in Europe decreased by 30% between 2021 and 2023.
1,300 Australian venues have shut down since the pandemic.
What they said:
Rebecca Mutty, Senior Global Marketing Manager for MGD: “From Turkey to Hungary, Georgia to Australia, electronic music connects communities in powerful and personal ways. Through this partnership with Beatport, we’re proud to support the venues and the people behind them by helping preserve the cultural spaces that make nightlife matter, and ensuring they continue to thrive in the face of growing challenges.”
Yasemin Kosereisoglu, Director of Client Relations & Creative Production at TBG: “This fund represents a shared commitment to the future of electronic music. By supporting independent venues in key markets, we’re investing in the infrastructure that keeps our culture alive.”
