Virgin Music Group Southeast Asia Appoints Cindy Gu as General Manager
Gu was previously Managing Director of Fabled Records
Virgin Music Group has brought on Cindy Gu to lead its Southeast Asia division. She will oversee operations in Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
Cindy Gu:
Before coming to Virgin, Gu was Managing Director of Fabled Records, a joint venture between Live Nation and Astralwerks, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group (UMG).
Virgin is also a subsidiary of UMG.
At Astralwerks, she oversaw hits from the Indonesian group Weird Genius, including “LATHI” and “Future Ghost.”
Gu will supervise Liza Fuady, Regional Director at Virgin Music Group Southeast Asia.
