Warner Chappell Music has promoted Gabz Landman to Executive Vice President, A&R, based in Los Angeles. Since joining WCM in 2022, she has built a strong publishing track record, most notably through her work with songwriter Amy Allen. She continues to report to Ryan Press, President, A&R, North America.

Vanessa Bosåen is stepping down as President of Virgin Music Group UK after six years at the UMG label services and distribution subsidiary, which she helped build from its 2021 relaunch. Her roster included BTS, Kings of Leon, Clairo, Rema, and Beabadoobee. Before Virgin, she founded Regent Street Records in 2014.

Amuse has made two senior hires to lead its Artist and Label Services division out of a new London office. Mark Mitchell joins as General Manager, coming from Co-President of Parlophone Records and a recent stint at Def Jam/UMG. Tim Cronin joins as SVP, Head of Music from FUGA, where he led business development.

Ryan Beuschel has been promoted to Co-Head of The Neal Agency alongside Adi Sharma and Founder/CEO Austin Neal, expanding his previous General Manager role to cover touring, film, TV, and brand partnerships. The agency represents Morgan Wallen and Bailey Zimmerman, among others.

Kristy Ellis has been confirmed as CEO of QMusic — the Queensland trade body behind BIGSOUND and the Queensland Music Awards — after serving as interim since April. Her background spans sports, performing arts, and events.

  • UTA has made six hires across London and Los Angeles: Anthony Brown (ex-CAA) and Becky Drouet (ex-LPO) join as agents in London; Chris Anderson, Jordan Golenberg, Randy Freedman, and Lauren Katzakian (ex-UMG) join in LA across agent, music brand partnerships, and business affairs roles.

  • THE·TEAM has hired David Valdez (ex-Live Nation) and Danielle Diab (ex-Live Nation, AEG Presents) as Directors of Tour Marketing in Los Angeles, and promoted Sophie Maltby to Associate Director of Integrated Music and Sports Partnerships in New York.

  • WMG is opening a technology hub in Bengaluru in September, focused on AI, data infrastructure, and global engineering, led by Mahesh Rao and reporting to CTO Leho Nigul.

  • Rene Erwin Mata joins Frontiers Label Group as A&R — New York, with over two decades of experience at Sony Music, Columbia Records, Red Bull Records, and Mascot Label Group, and credits including the early development of Maroon 5.

  • Anna Widmer joins Riser House Entertainment as VP of Promotion, coming from Sony Music Nashville. She previously held promotion roles at MCA Nashville and Cold River Records.

  • Evan Masyr joins K-LOVE as CFO. He spent 26 years at Salem Media Group and earlier worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

  • Gabe Israel has been promoted to agent at Universal Attractions Agency's rock and pop department, covering Southern territory bookings including Ty Herndon and Mitch Rossell.
