


Taylor Swift will return to cinemas with an 89-minute “release party” event, Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, starting October 3, the day her 12th album is released.

The event will feature the premiere of the first music video from the new album, “The Fate of Ophelia.”
Also included will be behind the scenes footage from the “Ophelia” shoot, lyric videos for songs on the album, and Swift’s “never-before-seen personal reflections” about her new songs.
The screenings:
Will take place in all 540 AMC Theatres locations as part of her ongoing deal with AMC Theatres Distribution for her big-screen releases.
It will also occur in thousands of non-AMC locations.
Screenings will begin simultaneously across time zones at 3pm ET/noon PT on Oct 3, and run until October 5.
Tickets are $12 before any added online booking fees and are on sale now.
International events:
Fans in Canada, Mexico, the UK, France, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand will be able to watch the film concurrent with its US release.
Tickets go on sale for these territories on Tuesday September 23.
