Madonna Confirms Release Date For New Album, ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II’
This will be her 15th studio album since she began her legendary career in 1983
Madonna, commonly known as the Queen of Pop, has announced her next album: Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II. The full-length release will be out July 3 on Warner Records.
The details:
This album is a follow-up to her 2005 LP, Confessions on a Dance Floor.
Like its predecessor, the new album will focus on dance music.
Madonna tapped DJ Stuart Price to produce the new album after he produced Confessions on a Dance Floor as well.
The album marks her return to Warner Records following her departure in 2007.
Madonna shared the cover art for the new album on Instagram.
What they said:
Madonna: "We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we’ve been doing for thousands of years — they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It’s a place where you connect — with your wounds, with your fragility. To rave is an art. It’s about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people. Sound, light, and vibration/ Reshape our perceptions/ Pulling us into a trance-like state. The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it, but we feel it. Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time.”
