SoundCloud Unveils New ‘All-in-One’ Artist Subscription
Allows artists to keep 100% of streaming distribution royalties
SoundCloud has unveiled its new ‘All-in-One’ artist subscription package, delivering what it says is the most artist-direct subscription on the market.
What it means:
- While artists who monetize directly on SoundCloud have always kept 100% of their SoundCloud royalties, the new package extends the same benefit to distribution royalties from streaming platforms such as TikTok, Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music and 50+ more.
- For the US only, the platform has also introduced a Fan Support Feature, whereby fans can donate to artists via a Support button, with 100% of the proceeds going to the artist.
- Fans who donate are highlighted in a new Fan Support spotlight.
- In addition, artists can showcase their off-platform purchase options and merch directly alongside their music, with all profits going to the artist.
- As previously reported, SoundCloud also offers artists the ability to sell on-demand vinyl versions of tracks internationally.
Package launch:
- The ‘All-in-One’ artist subscription is available now.
- Existing Artist and Artist Pro subscribers automatically gain access to the new features.
- New creators can join here.
What they said:
- Eliah Seton, CEO of SoundCloud: “SoundCloud has always been about putting artists first. With this launch, we’re taking that mission further by giving artists a truly all-in-one subscription, including distribution without detours, community without barriers, and monetization without compromise, including direct support from their fans.”
