Rostrum Signs Licensing Deals with Spotify and TikTok, Launches New Distribution Platform
The independent music company is making several big moves to grow its presence in the industry
Rostrum Pacific, the independent music group, has announced several major updates to its business model. The company has struck direct licensing agreements with Spotify and TikTok, established a new distribution and catalog management platform called SpaceHeater, and named Samantha Moore as President of SpaceHeater.

SpaceHeater was designed to address three primary issues: "Complex and opaque catalog migration, limited access to deep data insights, and insufficient catalog optimization."
Beyond the deal with Spotify and TikTok, SpaceHeater will also access Amazon, Tidal, and other music platforms.
The platform will distribute the music from Rostrum’s portfolio, including the Rostrum Records, Cantora, and Fat Beats catalogues.

Moore built the Commercial Insights and Business Intelligence verticals at the prominent distributor The Orchard.
She also served as Chief of Staff and SVP of Business Operations at ADA.
