Secretly Distribution has announced a worldwide distribution deal with Org Music, the Los Angeles-based independent record label that specializes in high-quality vinyl reissues and innovative new music.
The deal:
Secretly Distribution will handle physical and digital music distribution, digital and retail marketing, and technological support for all of Org Music’s releases.
The partnership begins with two reissue series: iconic Funkadelic albums restored and remastered from the original tapes, and classic albums from the Descendents.
Secretly Distribution’s work will also encompass Org Music’s collaborations with legendary jazz, blues, soul and funk catalogs from Brunswick Records, Black Lion, Westbound Records and the GHB Jazz Foundation – home to the historic Paramount Records masters – as well as iconic punk artists like Bad Brains, cult rock’n’roll legends Tav Falco, and more.
In addition to reissues, Org Music’s roster includes punk innovator Mike Watt, avant-garde jazz drummer William Hooker and trombonist Phil Ranelin, Josh Klinghoffer’s Pluralone and Dot Hacker, and emerging voices such as Color Green, Zachary Cale and more.
What they said:
Andrew Rossiter, Partner and General Manager at Org Music: “We're thrilled to partner with the talented team at Secretly Distribution. Their passion for music and genuine appreciation of our diverse, often niche catalog aligns perfectly with Org Music’s vision. Together, we look forward to expanding our reach and sharing exceptional music, both timeless and new, with audiences everywhere.”
