MUBI Picks Up Cameron Winter Concert Film, Shot at Carnegie Hall

MUBI has announced its global acquisition of concert film Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall, excluding North America.

Big screen debut:

• The film captures the Geese frontman’s stripped-back solo performance at the New York venue, where he became one of the youngest solo artists to headline its main auditorium.

• It was shot and directed by Oscar-winning director Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood) on 35mm and 16mm film.

• The movie will have its world premiere at the 64th New York Film Festival.

• MUBI will screen it in 2027, while Janus Films and Criterion will release the film in North America.

Accompanying soundtrack:

• Winter will release Live at Carnegie Hall, a live album documenting the performance, on October 9 via Partisan/Play It Again Sam.

• It was recorded and produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Ariel Rechtshaid.
