UMG's Global Talent Services Acquires Latin Management Firm Rosa Lagarrigue Management

The Latin music management company integrates with UMG’s Global Talent Services division

Prominent Latin music management company Rosa Lagarrigue Management (RLM) has been acquired by UMG-owned Latin artist services agency Global Talent Services (GTS).

Why it matters:

Since 1980, the Spanish-headquartered RLM has worked with artists such as Miguel Bosé, Mecano, Alejandro Sanz, Raphael, Sara Baras, Rozalén and Marlena, to name a few.

Following the acquisition, RLM founder Rosa Lagarrigue will join the GTS leadership as Global Executive Vice President. The RLM team will be integrated into the company.

In April the RIAA reported that Latin music recorded revenue topped $1.4 billion in 2024.

Label pivot:

In October 2024 it was announced GTS would become a standalone division within UMG, with its management and operation managed independent of UMG's local music labels.

Narcís Rebollo was appointed the CEO and President.

Founded in 2011, GTS has a presence in Spain, Portugal, the U.S., Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
