Music technology company Songtradr has unified its key B2B music businesses – 7digital, Big Sync Music, Musicube and Resonance Sonic Branding – under the MassiveMusic brand.
Streamlining the service:
The move integrates 7digital’s global distribution, Big Sync Music’s advertising and licensing expertise, Musicube’s AI-powered metadata and search functions, and Resonance Sonic Branding’s strategic services with MassiveMusic’s creativity.
Songtradr claims the move will provide brands, agencies and platforms with “a seamless, end-to-end partner to maximize the impact of music and sound at scale.”
How we got here:
Creative music licensing agency Big Sync Music was acquired by Songtradr in 2019.
Songtradr then acquired creative music agency MassiveMusic in 2021.
In 2022 Songtradr acquired Musicube which, as per Music Business Worldwide, “has a database of tens of millions of song titles and hundreds of keywords with which to seek out music.” This data and tech-enabled intelligence was acquired to improve Songtradr’s music services.
UK-based 7digital, which offers a catalog of millions of licensed tracks and API services for use in apps across fitness, social, gaming and background music, was acquired in 2023.
What they said:

Together, we deliver scalable, tech-driven, and creative sonic solutions that deepen emotional connections, elevate brand perception, and drive measurable business results across every touchpoint.”
