On The Radar Radio Launches in the UK

Aims to amplify the most exciting voices in drill, grime and rap

On The Radar Radio has teamed up with Olympus Projects and Too Lost to launch the ‘On The Radar UK’ series.

What it’s about:

  • Founded in New York City, On The Radar Radio delivers exclusive music and interviews, showcasing underground artists and top celebrities.

  • After successfully exporting the concept to South America for 'On The Radar Brazil' – which generated hundreds of millions of views and secured multiple entries on the Spotify Viral 100 Chart in Brazil – the series is now launching in the UK.

  • The platform is designed to spotlight a cross-section of the UK’s most vital voices in music, from established stars to underground innovators pushing drill, grime, rap, and experimental sounds forward.

  • The partnership with Too Lost and Olympus Projects provides artists with robust distribution infrastructure, ensuring their music reaches a global audience across more than 450 platforms.

UK launch:

  • The series was filmed in London in July and debuts with 12 new freestyles over Friday September 12 and Saturday September 13.

  • All up it will showcase 150 original freestyles across Fridays and Saturdays in September and October.

  • The first six freestyles feature Ms Banks, M1Caspa, DC3, Elzzz, Scorcher, JD Cliffe.

  • The second group, airing on Saturday the 13th, features Proph, Laicositna, Angel Gray, Ciel, D’One, and Jus Harry.

  • The launch is accompanied by a trailer directed by renowned London-based multi-disciplinary artist Jaffa Saba.

What they said:

  • Gabe P., Host and Founder of On The Radar: “We’re extremely excited to launch our first-ever series in the UK. The country has always served as one of On The Radar’s biggest fanbases, and when we first started out our infamous freestyle series, we became a hub for the likes of Digga D, AJ Tracey, and Central Cee in America. Bringing the series now across the pond, we are extremely excited to showcase the talent and legacy from the UK, such as the likes of Scorcher, JayaHadADream, kasst8, and ledbyher.”
