November is AusMusic Month in Australia, a time dedicated to celebrating and supporting local music. To coincide, Live Nation Australia has announced a ticket upsell initiative to support local charity Support Act.
How it works:
For the remainder of October and November, fans purchasing tickets to any Live Nation Australia show can make a voluntary donation to Support Act at the checkout.
Support Act is a charity dedicated to providing crisis relief and mental health and wellbeing support to people working in the music industry.
In addition, all proceeds from official merchandise sales at the ‘On The Steps’ series of shows (which feature artists like Ruel and The Living End playing at the Sydney Opera House forecourt) will go to Support Act.
What they said:
Alex Klos, Live Nation Entertainment Australia & New Zealand President: “November is all about celebrating Australian music, and we’re proud to expand our partnership with Support Act during AusMusic Month. Every ticket sold represents not just a great night out, but an opportunity to give back to the people who make the magic of live music possible.”
