Former Apple Marketing Lead Vivian Wang Donohue Joins The ROSTR Group
Donohue joins as Chief Growth Officer, bringing over a decade of experience across Apple, AEG, and live entertainment
Vivian Wang Donohue has been appointed Chief Growth Officer at The ROSTR Group — the parent company of ROSTR, Jobs by ROSTR, and this publication, New Industry Focus.
Donohue joins from Apple, where she spent several years leading commercial growth initiatives across Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Services. She previously held senior leadership roles at AEG Presents and AEG Worldwide/AXS.
The role:
Donohue will lead commercial, partnership, and marketing initiatives across all of The ROSTR Group's products in the newly created role. She is based in Los Angeles and reports to Mark Williamson (CEO, Co-Founder), joining a management team alongside Adam Watson (CTO, Co-Founder) and Katie Holmes (COO).
Backstory:
At Apple, Donohue worked across product, analytics, engineering, and creative teams to develop growth strategies, internal tooling, and predictive frameworks supporting global subscriber acquisition and retention.
Prior to Apple, she held senior leadership roles at AEG Presents and AEG Worldwide/AXS, leading product, research, and marketing intelligence across global touring, venues, and festivals. There she built centralized data and insights functions and developed predictive analytics tools for major touring artists and large-scale live entertainment operations.
Donohue is also the creator and producer of the Belly Laughs Comedy and Food Festival and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, teaching marketing analytics and digital strategy for the live music industry.
What They Said:
Vivian Wang Donohue: “I’ve believed in ROSTR since the early days as one of its first clients,” said Donohue. “It’s been incredible to watch the impact the platform has had on the industry, and I couldn’t be more excited to join the group for this next chapter as we continue to shape what’s next for the music business.”
Mark Williamson, The ROSTR Group Co-Founder and CEO: "I met Vivian when she helped drive the deal for AEG to become one of ROSTR's first ever enterprise clients. Getting AEG back then felt like a big deal for us. Years later, getting Vivian to join us on the mission feels like an even bigger deal for us."
