Latin music's global boom has a business side, and ROSTR's new LATAM Company Spotlight series is here to map it, one company at a time. First up: Rimas Entertainment, home to 79 artists and 589 million monthly listeners. See their full roster on ROSTR →
As the Latin American music market grows into a global powerhouse, Rimas Entertainment is leading the charge as the largest independent label and diversified music company from the region. Starting out as a digital distributor based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, one of the first artists on the roster was a little-known singer and rapper from nearby Vega Baja who went by the name of Bad Bunny. Bad Bunny is now in the top 0.05% of all artist profiles on ROSTR, and the #2 most-viewed artist on the platform in February 2026. Today, other than shepherding his unmatched international appeal as a Latin artist, Rimas has proven it has the chops to identify and nurture a diverse slate of talent.
Today, Rimas is a 360 entertainment company offering the full range of services for its artists: music strategy, artist development, content, marketing, strategic partnerships, and new business opportunities. Its headquarters remain in San Juan, with new offices now open in Latin cultural hotspots Miami, Madrid, and Mexico City. Since 2021, its music has been distributed globally through The Orchard, and in 2025 it took a significant stake in Argentina's Dale Play Records.
Under the leadership of CEO Noah Assad, President Jonathan "Jomy" Miranda, COO Jorge Bracero, and General Manager Rodrigo Prichard, Rimas artists have defined the Latin Trap genre.
Eladio Carrión and Arcángel, two of Latin Trap's biggest names, also call Rimas home. Their music has helped create a throughline between native Latin musical history and modern pop stylings, raising their own profile and increasing attention on Latin music as a whole. On ROSTR, Arcángel has climbed from the top 10.3% of most-viewed artist profiles last year to the top 5.9% in 2026, while Eladio Carrión ranks in the top 4% of all artists on the platform all-time.
"I think Rimas is bigger than a label. It's a platform that has given artists from our culture the space to build something on their own terms and take it to the world," says Eladio Carrión.
Beyond Rimas's ability to shape genre trends, the team's esteemed experience has attracted bona fide legends in Latin Music, as well as exciting breakthrough acts. The roster also includes legends Tito Nieves, alongside Cazzu, Rawayana and Omar Courtz, among others. Five Rimas artists rank in the top 3% of all artist profiles viewed on ROSTR this year, and Rawayana has jumped from the top 3.7% to the top 1.2%.
Omar Courtz went from the top 3.7% last year to the top 1.9% in 2026, and RaiNao from the top 6.1% to the top 2.7%. Rimas España includes Sen Senra and Diego 900, while Rimas México counts Yandel and Big Soto on its roster.
Overall, Rimas's roster has generated 117 billion streams from over 70 artists, with 28 million streams coming in daily.
"Rimas has always been about creating from our own perspective and building without limitations. We're proud of where we come from, but our ambition has always been global," says Miranda. "We want to continue creating opportunities for Latin artists, executives and creators to build careers and companies that can compete on a global scale, while staying true to the culture that brought us here."
