Includes both writers’ shares and publishing rights
Dutch music investment fund Pythagoras Music has acquired the music catalogs of songwriter Joe Janiak and late lyricist Peter Sinfield in separate deals.
Credits:
Janiak has writing and production credits on tracks that have accumulated billions of streams by artists such as Ellie Goulding, Britney Spears, Tove Lo, Snakehips, Lewis Capaldi and more.
Sinfield was the founding member and primary lyricist for King Crimson, writing lyrics for songs such as “The Court of the Crimson King” and “Epitaph.”
He later moved into mainstream pop, co-writing “The Land of Make Believe” for Bucks Fizz and Celine Dion’s “Think Twice.”
Sinfield passed away in 2024.
