O2 Expands Venue Portfolio with Odyssey Deal in Belfast

The 10-year deal will see the existing venue rebranded The O2 Belfast

British telecommunications company O2 has signed a long-term partnership with The Odyssey Trust, becoming the official naming rights partner for Belfast’s Odyssey complex.

What it means:

  • From July 1, 2026, the 11,200-capacity SSE Arena will be rebranded The O2 Belfast.

  • It will join O2’s portfolio of 21 venues across 14 UK cities, which includes The O2 in London, O2 Academy Brixton, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and more.

  • O2 will also become the title sponsor of the Belfast Giants, the ice hockey team that calls the venue home.

Benefits:

  • O2 customers will get early access to tickets for gigs and events at The O2 Belfast through its Priority Tickets platform.

  • O2 and Virgin Media Broadband customers will be able to use the O2 Blueroom, a soon-to-be-opened exclusive VIP bar area.
