Audiomovers, the company that specializes in remote studio collaboration technology, has appointed Grammy-winning songwriter, producer, composer, arranger and guitarist Nile Rodgers as Chief Collaborator and Chair of its Board of Advisors.
The details:
Audiomovers was acquired by Abbey Road Studios in 2021. It has enabled remote music creation for artists such as Taylor Swift, J. Cole, Beyoncé and Burna Boy.
Rodgers will lead a group of advisors drawn from top-tier artists and technologists to help Audiomovers achieve its goal of breaking down technological barriers and redefining how music is made.
As per its press release, this new chapter will help Audiomovers move beyond collaboration to reimagine seamless tools for managing, moving and creating audio.
What they said:
Rodgers: "[Audiomovers]... saved the music industry during the pandemic and quickly established themselves as the go-to for global collaboration; now they are transforming what's possible for creators everywhere. This opportunity speaks to everything I care about in music and creativity – I knew I had to be part of it."
