


Music Rights Company MusicInfra Raises $5m in Funding Round
Aims to help digital platforms and music publishers navigate rights management
New York City-headquartered music rights clearinghouse MusicInfra has received a $5 million investment in its latest funding round.
The details:
The round was led by MiddleGame Ventures, who join existing investors Raine, UTA Ventures, and Snö Ventures.
As per its statement, MusicInfra is “building a global clearinghouse for music that helps digital platforms and music publishers navigate rights management more efficiently,” increasing revenue and resources in the process.
The company has teams across the US, Europe, and Latin America.
New hires:
Former Spotify exec Jules Parker has joined as Chief Business Officer.
In her almost nine years at Spotify Parker created and led the global Songwriter & Publisher partnerships team.
At MusicInfra she joins a leadership team that includes Hipgnosis co-founder Björn Lindvall, former YouTube Head of Publishing Partner Engineering Greg Quillard, and other former YouTube, Meta, Gracenote and Google staff.
