Indigo Launches to Strengthen Artist-Superfan Connections

Kicks off its public beta with collaboration with rapper IDK

Quarantunes Co-Founder Demi Weitz has teamed with Luc Giraud and Saskia Giraud to launch Indigo, an artist-forward startup designed to drive fan culture “beyond passive audiences into active communities through a new connection model.”

The details:

  • The web-based platform allows artists to share unreleased music, voice memos, behind-the-scenes content, and exclusive experiences.

  • Fans can stream content, unlock exclusive access, support artists through microtransactions, and gift content to friends.

  • It’s designed to help artists better understand who is supporting them, while offering new ways to connect.

  • A mobile app with expanded features is expected later in the summer.

The launch:

  • Indigo has launched in public beta with a collaboration with rapper, producer, and filmmaker IDK.

  • Fans can access his June 20 Son De L’Amour (Sound of Love) event through an exclusive RSVP on Indigo.

  • Additional exclusive content and artist-led conversations for IDK’s Indigo community will be published throughout the week.

What they said:

  • Demi Weitz, Indigo Co-Founder: “Indigo is founded on the belief that the music industry is moving from volume to depth. For years, artists have been measured by reach; we believe the future will be shaped by the strength of the communities forming around their work. Our mission is to give artists the infrastructure to grow and invest in those communities. .idk. has long approached music as something larger than music itself, and that philosophy closely reflects the future we’re building toward.”
