


Italian Music Market Experiences 10% Boost in H1 2025
Domestic artists dominated the Top 10
The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) has released the half yearly figures for the Italian recorded music market, revealing a 9.7% YoY rise with a turnover of €208.1 million.
The stats:
Streaming recorded 9.9% overall growth. Total streaming revenue, including video and ad-supported, was €166.4m.
Physical music rose 13% in H1 at €33.3m, with vinyl leading the way (up 17%), and revenue from CD sales up 4.7%.
Sync revenue declined by 4.5% to €6.5m.
Top performers:
The Top 10 albums and singles were composed of 90% domestic artists.
Sony Music’s Olly had the Number 1 album (Tutta Vita) and single (“Balorda Nostalgia”) in the first half of the year.
