Hayley Williams’ Post Atlantic Label Partners with Secretly Distribution
The Paramore singer has just released her third solo LP
Hayley Williams and Secretly Distribution have partnered on the Paramore singer’s label venture, Post Atlantic.
The details:
Secretly Distribution will provide physical and digital distribution, digital and retail marketing and financial and tech support for all Post Atlantic releases.
The first is the November 7 physical release of Williams’ third solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, which was released digitally in August.
Though Atlantic released Williams’ previous solo albums and Paramore’s output to date, both contracts have now finished.
The band has signaled a desire to move out of the major label system for future releases.
What they said:
Hayley Williams: “I chose to go with Secretly because one of the founders told me they'd always be independent because his co-founder 'would never take the money' and that just made my little punk rock heart sing. What a luxury to be able to sort of start my career over in this way, with more connectedness amongst the team. And ownership for the first time ever.”
