It was founded by Neon Gold’s Derek Davies and Avenue A’s Dave Wallace.
Neon Gold launched seminal early releases by Passion Pit, Charli XCX, Christine & the Queens, Tove Lo, and Marina & the Diamonds.
Its roster remains active and has accumulated over 15 billion streams and 10 million albums sold to date.
Avenue A’s roster boasts artists such as Barns Courtney, Blossoms, Palace, and Self Esteem.

Eight other music companies also recently joined Chordal: Red Bull Records, Nice Life, Phoenix Music International, Jazz is Dead, Unity Group, Pravda Records, San Juan Music Group, and In Real Life.
