EVEN Partners with Secretly Distribution to Power Direct Fan Revenue
The partnership seeks to engage and nurture superfans
New York-headquartered direct-to-fan commerce platform EVEN has teamed up with Secretly Distribution (SD), providing the artists it distributes with access to EVEN’s fan-focused monetization tools.
The main players:
EVEN is a platform that offers superfans exclusive benefits from their favorite artists, be it first access to merchandise, tour tickets, private events or, crucially, new music before it appears on streaming services.
The company purports to have onboarded 80,000+ artists across 2,200 labels in 110+ countries since launching in April 2024, with fans paying an average of USD $20 per release via its platform.
Secretly Distribution is the independent distribution/services arm of Secretly Group.
It distributes artists and labels such as Rhymesayers, Captured Tracks, A24 Music, Chrysalis and DFA, as well as Secretly’s own labels such as Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar, Secretly Canadian and more.
What it means:
Every artist distributed by Secretly now has access to EVEN’s direct-to-fan monetization tools.
Via this partnership, EVEN profile pages are auto-generated for all SD-distributed artists.
Those artists can then sell albums, singles, podcasts and exclusive experiences directly to fans through their page.
All eligible music sales made via EVEN will count toward Billboard charts.
As per Music Business Worldwide, EVEN claims that “established acts are generating 2-3x their yearly streaming revenue from superfans from a single release” on its service.
What they said:
Mag Rodriguez, CEO and Founder of EVEN: “Now, every SD-distributed artist can launch exclusive drops and experiences at the click of a button, turning superfans into real supporters before the music even hits streaming. This partnership creates the infrastructure artists need to deepen fan relationships and build sustainable careers alongside their streaming presence.”
