Dynamite Songs Bolsters Rights Management Capabilities with New Hires

The appointments will support song portfolio growth and management

Specialist music publisher Dynamite Songs has appointed Claudia Namukasa as Catalog Manager and Charlotte Hancock as Rights Acquisition Manager. The company says the hires expand its rights management capabilities, and further strengthen “the analytical foundation underpinning its acquisition program.”

Backstories:

  • Namukasa joins from UK collective management organization PRS for Music, where she worked as a Music Licensing Consultant.

  • Hancock was previously the Senior International Royalties Analyst at Warner Chappell Music, managing end-to-end royalty processing for a wide variety of catalogs.

  • The company says both bring “deep experience in royalty processing, copyright administration, and music licensing.”

Acquisition activity:

  • Dynamite, which was founded by former Mojo Music exec Alan Wallis in 2025, recently acquired the publishing rights to songs written by GRAMMY-nominated American singer-songwriter Joan Osborne and Gemini award-winning Canadian composer, arranger, producer and performer Lou Pomanti.

  • The acquisitions added around 300 songs to Dynamite’s portfolio, which includes hits from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Avicii, and Tinie Tempah.

What they said:

  • Alan Wallis, CEO, Dynamite Songs: “I am proud of the growth we have achieved since Dynamite Songs’ inception, driven by a simple mantra: it’s the songs that count. In a relatively short time, we have acquired over 1,100 songs, preserving and amplifying the works of songwriters who have defined the sound of their eras. Building a team that understands the value of these songs and their cultural legacies is central to how we operate. Claudia and Charlotte bring exactly the kind of additional expertise and support we need to reach our ambitions and I look forward to everything we'll build together.”
