Paris headquartered streaming service Deezer has launched Deezer Business, enabling businesses to legally stream music in commercial spaces such as shops, restaurants, hotels, cinemas, gyms and offices across France.
High profile brands:
According to Deezer’s statement, privately owned cinema chain UGC Group has joined Dunkin’ Donuts (who are establishing a presence in France) and Converse as Deezer Business clients.
The offering:
Businesses can legally stream music publicly without having to negotiate music licenses.
Deezer Business tailors editorial playlists to specific business types and customer preferences, so organizations don’t have to curate playlists from scratch.
It also offers AI-powered playlist curation and multi-zone management for controlling music across different areas.
Businesses can add commercials throughout the music programming.
Plans to roll out Deezer Business globally are yet to be disclosed.
What they said:
Julien Delbourg, Chief Commercial Officer at Deezer: “As a global music experience platform, we know the impact music has on how people feel in a space.
