Dave Ayers Appointed Executive Vice President, A&R, at Peermusic

Dave Ayers has been named Executive Vice President, A&R, at Peermusic.

The role:

• Ayers will oversee the signing and development of talent, and shape the creative strategy across Peermusic’s roster of artists, songwriters and producers.

• He will report to Jamie Cerreta, President US and Canada.

Backstory:

• Ayers has worked across management, publishing and label A&R over the past four decades.

• He’s previously worked at Twin/Tone, Capitol Records, Chrysalis and Big Deal Music Publishing, which he co-founded with Cerreta and others.

• Following the 2020 sale of Big Deal he served as Executive Vice President at Hipgnosis Songs.

• Previous signings and collaborations include Bon Iver, Ween, St. Vincent, TV on the Radio, Kamasi Washington, The Black Keys, and more.
