Bon Iver is an American indie folk band founded in 2006 by singer-songwriter Justin Vernon in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The project began when Vernon retreated to his father's cabin after personal setbacks, creating the acclaimed debut album 'For Emma, Forever Ago.' Known for ethereal vocals and innovative production, Bon Iver won Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Album in 2012.
