The joint venture “serves as a new chapter for EZMNY Records”
Independent music and entertainment company Create Music Group (CMG) has partnered with EZMNY Records, the label founded by Ty Dolla $ign and Shawn Barron. Barron signed Ty Dolla $ign to Atlantic Records in 2012.

EZMNY’s roster includes Leon Thomas, Bizzy Cook, rjtheweirdo, Saige Michael and Keith Turner.
Since its founding in 2015, CMG has handled releases for a wide range of notable hip-hop and R&B artists including Ye & Ty Dolla $ign, DeeBaby, Keri Hilson, Rich The Kid, Tink and more.
What they said:
Shawn Barron: “The Create Music Group deal serves as a new chapter for EZMNY Records. Partnering with the Create team is a natural extension of the artist-first vision Ty and I have already built with the success of EZMNY. We are excited to continue to foster the relationship and look forward to building something truly impactful for our artists.”
Steeven Leblanc, Director of Business Development at Create Music Group: “We’ve always believed in working with visionaries, and Shawn and Ty exemplify that. They understand the culture, the art, and the business in a way that few others do. This partnership is about amplifying that perspective and giving their artists the tools they need to break through at the highest level.”
Other CMG news:
The joint venture comes in the wake of CMG’s recent $165 million investment led by private equity firm Flexpoint Ford, which valued the company at over $1 billion.
