Charity soccer tournament Copa del Rave Returns to Los Angeles

Music industry teams will battle for supremacy on the pitch

Copa del Rave, the self-styled “loudest tournament in world soccer,” returns to Evolve Soccer Los Angeles on October 9.

  • Eight music industry teams will compete for the trophy: Beatport, CAA, Capitol Records, Circa, INFAMOUS, Red Light Management, Symphonic Distribution and Stratasonic.

  • Players include Chris Lorenzo, TEED, Apple Music’s Luchero, Ocho On The Beat and Nikita the Wicked.

  • The tournament will be soundtracked by DJs including Bolo, Karaba, Life In Planets, Thee Mike B and Juos and Soraya, and there will be “secret sets and surprise appearances.”

  • Grammy-nominated Kah-lo will lead the half-time performance.

  • Copa del Rave is presented by adidas.

Win-Loss record:

  • Last year’s winner was Red Light Management.

  • The five previous installments have raised over $60,000 in charity donations, with each team required to donate and the winning team picking the charity that will receive this year’s money.
