Prominent music professionals will judge submissions

Record Store Day, the global initiative designed to celebrate independent record stores, has announced the return of Record Store Day Unsigned in the UK. This competition gives unsigned artists the chance to have their music pressed on vinyl and mastered at Abbey Road.

How it works:

  • Entrants must be unsigned, 16 or older, and be residents of the UK.

  • Under 18s need consent from a parent or guardian.

  • The video must be in the form of a YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok link.

  • Entries are open October 8 to November 24, 2026.

  • Submit entries via Breed Media, the competition partner pressing the vinyl.

  • In addition to the pressings, winners receive a pair of Bowers & Wilkins 607 S3 bookshelf speakers and a Marantz Stereo 70s amplifier.
