Live Nation is Opening a New Venue in Nashville This Week

Live Nation will open its new Nashville venue, The Truth, on October 1. The space will have a capacity of 4,400 and be located in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood.

The details:

• Country artist Miranda Lambert will mark the first performance.

• The show is already sold out.

• Other artists slated to perform include Jack White, The Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, Goose, and GloRilla.

Background:

• The venue was designed by Blueprint Studio, Live Nation’s in-house firm.

• The name is a reference to a quote from songwriter Harlan Howard, who said that a song needs “three chords and the truth.”

• This venue will feature the Vinyl Room, a hi-fi listening bar concept that first debuted at the Hollywood Palladium, another Live Nation venue, in Los Angeles.

• As part of the opening, Live Nation has invested in multi-year commitments with the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and the W.O. Smith Music School.

• Students from W.O. Smith will perform at a soft opening ahead of October 1.
