Alex Clark Appointed Sync & Licensing Manager at Transgressive
The move is effective immediately
London- and New York-based independent music company Transgressive has appointed Alex Clark as its sync and licensing manager, effective immediately.
The role:
Clark will oversee and drive Transgressive’s global sync and licensing business, driving partnerships and relationships with existing partners and new clients.
He was previously with indie label Erased Tapes.
Transgressive was founded in 2004, and has since released music by artists such as Foals, Sophie and Arlo Parks.
What they said:
Alex Clark: “It’s genuinely surreal to be joining Transgressive. I’ve been following the label since seeing Pulled Apart By Horses at the now-closed McClusky’s in Kingston. Blaenavon, Gengahr and Foals were artists that helped shape my taste in music, so stepping into a role that supports musicians I’ve admired for so long feels very full circle. I’m excited and honored to step into the role of sync & licensing manager and to help bring this catalog into new contexts, stories, and audiences.”
