
South Korean media giant, HYBE, has renewed its distribution deal with fellow South Korean media company YG Plus. Over the last eight years, this partnership has seen the proliferation of major K-pop acts such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, LE SSERAFIM, ENHYPEN, TXT, and NewJeans.

The new contract will last three years, officially beginning April 1, 2026.
YG Plus will continue to oversee domestic distribution of digital music and albums for HYBE artists.
The YG Plus network includes over 600 domestic and global partner labels and has contracts with music platforms in over 190 countries.
HYBE does not have an in-house physical distributor.
Background:
In 2021, HYBE purchased a 17.9% stake in YG Plus.
This deal brought YG Entertainment artists such as BLACKPINK into HYBE’s superfan platform, Weverse.
Then, in September 2025, HYBE sold 7.67% of its stake in YG Plus and now owns 10.23%.
