Warner Music Group (WMG) is set to launch a new technology hub in Bengaluru in September, expanding its Global Tech division.
The purpose:
The hub will drive technical innovation across WMG’s global technology ecosystem, supporting key initiatives spanning music distribution, data infrastructure and products, from core data pipelines to audience and marketing data products.
It will also progress engineering efforts in emerging technologies and areas leveraging AI.
Leadership:
The operation will be led by Mahesh Rao, Director of Software Engineering and Site Lead for India.
He will report directly to Toronto-based Chief Technology Officer Leho Nigul.
