Spotify has added another new audio offering to its platform: narrated magazine articles. Over 650 articles are currently available to stream for English-language users.
How it works:
Articles have their own genre on Spotify.
Listening to them draws from the monthly audiobook allowance for premium subscribers.
Free users can purchase individual article audio for $1.99 each.
Articles are drawn from publications including Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, Vogue, Variety, Billboard, Vibe, GQ, WIRED, Vanity Fair, and Pitchfork.
