Spotify Partners with Depop to Connect Music and Second-Hand Fashion

The partnership includes a two-day activation on Hollywood Boulevard

Spotify has teamed with fashion marketplace Depop to connect music and second-hand fashion through the artists, communities and scenes shaping culture today.

How it works:

  • On Depop, six artists – Eve, Amira Elfeky, Estevie, Frost Children, House of Protection and Lily Meola – have each curated a personal collection of pieces from their own wardrobes.

  • Shoppers can browse the artist storefronts, explore curated collections and move between discovering new artists and new fashion finds.

  • A co-branded editorial playlist features on Spotify, alongside artist content and in-app experiences.

Launch party:

  • Depop and Spotify will host a two-day activation on August 13 and 14 at the Hollywood Premiere Motel on Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles.

  • Guests can experience live performances, discover interactive genre-inspired closets, and explore curated fashion edits.

What they said:

  • Matt Luhks, Senior Director, Global Marketing at Spotify: “We’re excited to spotlight six incredible artists through this partnership with Depop. We hope to give fans a deeper look at the styles and sounds that shape their perspective as artists. Many of the artists contributed to an exclusive playlist on Spotify, which is an audio companion to their Depop closets. It lets fans trace the thread between what these artists wear, what they listen to, and how they create.”
