SeatGeek Launches Conversational AI Search Tool

‘Ask SeatGeek’ is built directly into the platform’s marketplace

Ticketing platform SeatGeek has launched its own AI search tool, Ask SeatGeek.

Why it matters:

  • While SeatGeek has brought conversational AI to ChatGPT, Google’s agentic AI search experience and Spotify, Ask SeatGeek brings that intelligence layer directly into its own marketplace.

How it works:

  • Ask SeatGeek lives inside SeatGeek’s existing search bar rather than sitting off to the side as a separate chatbot.

  • As questions get more complex, fans are guided into the full Ask SeatGeek experience at seatgeek.com/ask.

  • From there, answers are assembled from the platform’s interactive maps, view-from-seat imagery, Deal Score, and seat-level perks.

  • SeatGeek says fan preferences compound with every request, enabling more personalized answers as they continue searching.

What it means:

  • Fans can turn search into a conversation, describing what they’re looking for across price, location, sightlines, timing and amenities in a single request, the way they’d describe it to a friend.

  • While simplifying the search process for users, SeatGeek says it also offers richer representation of inventory for teams and venues.

What they said:

  • Jack Groetzinger, Co-Founder and CEO of SeatGeek: “We’ve spent 17 years organizing the details that matter when someone chooses a ticket – from price and location to sightlines and seat perks. Ask SeatGeek gives fans a simpler way to use that information: ask a question in their own words and get an answer they can act on.”
