Miley Cyrus has signed with Atlantic Records.
Fresh start:
Cyrus moves to Atlantic from Sony Music’s Columbia, where she released her last two albums, 2023’s Endless Summer Vacation (featuring the GRAMMY-winning single “Flowers”) and 2025’s Something Beautiful.
Prior she’d spent more than 10 years recording for RCA.
No new music has been confirmed.
Why it matters:
The signing is, as The Hollywood Reporter points out, Atlantic’s biggest since Elliot Grainge took over as Chairman and CEO in 2024.
It comes several months after Ed Sheeran left the label for UMG’s Interscope Records.
