MCA has entered a partnership with Nashville-based label ONE4 Records, which was founded by industry veteran Brian Wright and Red Light Management’s Coran Capshaw.
The details:
As per Music Row, the partnership “shares a focus on artist-first development, songwriting and building lasting careers.”
Music executive Katherine Godwin joins as ONE4’s Creative Director.
The label plans to grow its creative and operational team, with more announcements expected shortly.
News on artist signings will also be forthcoming.
Backstory:
Wright is a 25-year veteran of Universal Music Group, departing the company in 2023 after serving as Executive VP of A&R.
He helped shape some of the biggest albums of the past decade, such as Chris Stapleton’s Traveller and Jon Pardi’s California Sunrise.
