LyricFind has launched its Verified Artist Program, giving artists and labels the ability to claim their catalog and directly manage their lyrics on the platforms and DSPs LyricFind powers.
Why it matters:
LyricFind says accurate, time-synced lyrics can help deepen fan engagement and improve how music performs across digital platforms.
Accurate lyric data and metadata can also improve searchability and help platforms better surface tracks.
Licensed lyric usage generates royalties for publishers and songwriters, making accurate lyric data relevant to both audience growth and revenue.
How it works:
Artists can add, edit, and synchronize lyrics for display across LyricFind’s partner services.
They can upload existing lyric files or use LyricFind’s AI-powered Transcribe & Sync tool, which generates an initial transcription they can then edit.
Lyrics can also be submitted ahead of release so they are ready when a track goes live.
LyricFind’s partners include more than 100 platforms such as Google, TikTok, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and more.
The program is free for artists and labels.
What they said:
Darryl Ballantyne, Founder and CEO: “Since starting LyricFind over 20 years ago, we’ve believed artists shouldn’t have to pay just to make sure their lyrics are accurate, complete, and available wherever fans are listening. That’s why the Verified Artist Program is completely free. Alongside our other industry leading tools, the Program ensures artists have full control over their lyrics and how to best use them for maximum impact and revenue, all with no additional costs standing in their way.”
