Katie Vinten, Zach Lund Unveil Wild Child Music
The management company has partnered with Eclipse Music Group
Respected A&R execs Katie Vinten and Zach Lund have launched Nashville-based management company Wild Child Music, in partnership with Eclipse Music Group.
The roster:
Though only founded last year, Wild Child has accumulated a healthy roster of artists and producers, including Delacey (whose songwriting credits include Halsey and Dua Lipa), Hayden Blount, “goth country” artist Valley James, So-Cal folk rock duo Wells Ferrari, indie-folk artist Cece Coakley, Logan Turner, Brett Truitt, Willie Breeding, Cameron Neal, SXSSY, and others.
The bosses:
Wild Child Founder and CEO Vinten previously served as a Senior Vice President of A&R at Columbia Records in New York.
Her roster of artists and/or signings included Leon Bridges, Dove Cameron, Alana Springsteen and Tanner Adell.
Prior roles include Co-Head of A&R at Warner Chappell Music in Los Angeles, where she signed Shaboozey, Julia Michaels, Hailee Steinfeld, Kygo, Christina Aguilera and others.
As per Variety, Vinten also launched the Facet House label and publishing company with songwriter Justin Tranter, and was the first female to hold the executive in residence role at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
Wild Child’s Senior Partner and Principal Lund was previously a Director at Universal Music Publishing Group, signing and/or working with artists such as Stephen Sanchez, Morgan Wade, Cage the Elephant’s Matt Shultz, Natalie Hemby and Carter Faith.
What they said:
Kurt Locher, Eclipse Music Group Founder and Principal: “At Eclipse, our foundation has always been a deep dedication to artists and their songs. Wild Child’s vision perfectly aligns with our mission, and we couldn’t ask for a more passionate and innovative partnership than with Katie and Zach.”
