IMPALA Marks 25th Anniversary with ‘Faces of the Independent Sector’
The storytelling campaign puts a spotlight on those working in the independent space
IMPALA, the industry body that represents over 6,000 independent music companies in Europe, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a new project called Faces of the Independent Sector, which spotlights individuals working across the industry.
The campaign:
The project will highlight a range of European independent music companies, and share their stories from the perspectives of owners, employees and other key players.
The project is co-funded by the European Union under IMPALA’s network program.
The first interview will be released in December.
What they said:
Rory Brown, IMPALA PR and Projects Coordinator: “This project gives us an opportunity to recognize the people who make independent music what it is, including label owners and other key roles, to tell the story of how independents work and why they matter. The project reflects the cultural significance and diversity of independent music in Europe.”
