FUGA Grows Ties with Classical Giant Naxos
The two have extended and expanded their partnership
B2B music distributor FUGA has extended and expanded its partnership with classical music company Naxos Music Group.
The details:
The companies first teamed up in November 2022, with FUGA providing digital distribution, marketing, royalty accounting and its trends and analytics platform to Naxos.
The expanded partnership sees FUGA now providing its full suite of services, including strategic marketing, specialist YouTube services, product development, business development and royalty management.
The Downtown-owned FUGA also integrates data from classical streaming platform Presto Music into its analytics dashboard for Naxos.
New appointment:
To support the partnership, FUGA has announced the appointment of Amy Nelson as Senior Strategy Marketing Manager for Classical & Jazz, based in Amsterdam.
Nelson previously held roles at LSO Live, The Orchard and Pentatone.
She will work closely with the FUGA and Naxos teams, overseeing campaign development, artist promotion and long-term audience strategy.
What they said:
Håkan Lagerqvist, CEO of Naxos Digital Services: “Naxos and FUGA share a belief in innovation, and the power of music to reach across cultures. This expanded partnership reflects our continued investment in reimagining how classical music is marketed, distributed, and discovered by listeners around the world.”
Liz Northeast, SVP EMEA at Fuga: “Naxos is a true pioneer in classical music, and we’re proud to deepen our collaboration with them as they modernize how classical music is experienced. Their deep understanding of the classical landscape, combined with our technological expertise, creates a powerful opportunity to grow audiences for classical music worldwide.”
