John Mayer has launched his own label, Sob Rock Records, in partnership with Mercury Records, whose chairman and CEO Tyler Arnold welcomed “one of the greatest artists of all time” to the company. The launch arrives alongside 'Tom And Jerry,' his first new solo release since Sob Rock (2021), recorded at Chaplin Studios, the former Jim Henson Company Lot he bought with filmmaker McG. His Las Vegas Sphere residency has grown to 21 shows between April and June 2027.

Fresh off her first No. 1 with 'Boston,' which topped Billboard's Country Airplay chart, STELLA LEFTY has signed with Make Wake Artists for management, working with founder Chris Kappy and Sophia Sansone. Her debut album Long Way Home opened at No. 1 on Spotify's Top Albums Global and USA charts in August, and her first headlining tour kicks off in January.

Back in the Warner Music Group fold, Wiz Khalifa has partnered with 10K Projects, reuniting with president Marsha St. Hubert, his former project manager. The rapper spent years at Warner's Atlantic Records before striking a recording partnership with BMG in 2023. “It's good to be home!” he said. His new album Cool arrives Nov. 13 through the partnership, following latest single 'The Calm.'

EMPIRE Publishing has signed Ozuna to a worldwide deal covering his future works, along with creative and sync services. EMPIRE founder and CEO Ghazi revealed the deal on stage at Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami. It follows Ozuna's run with Kobalt, which began administering his publishing in 2017.

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Lyanno has partnered with UnitedMasters, which will release his next project as the company expands its Latin division. Now the owner of his masters after his years with Rimas Entertainment, he is also launching his own label, Dirty Players, with Jean Lasalle. New single 'Estamos afuera,' which he compared to 'Lokera,' arrives Nov. 5, with a more commercial album planned for 2027.

Marking its 30th anniversary, Frontiers Label Group has unveiled NOIUS, an invitation-only partnership model for established rock, metal and alternative acts, and signed X Ambassadors as its first artist. The band will release through FLG Records, whose head, Leo Nicholas, called it the label's biggest signing to date. New single 'Y.O.T.H.' (Year Of The Horse) is due Oct. 30.
