Finnish Firm Backbone Management Launches in the UK

Finland’s Backbone Management has expanded into the UK.

Backstory:

• The company was founded in 2014 by CEO Panu Piippo and Head of Management Antti Eriksso.

• It has guided the international careers of artists such as Ville Vallo (HIM), The Rasmus and Blind Channel.

The set-up:

• The UK office will be led by The Noise Cartel’s Director Adam Sagir, who over his 25-year career has worked as label manager, booking agent, artist manager and music PR.

• He will continue to run The Noise Cartel while leading Backbone in the UK.

• British artists Bones UK, Sikth and Vexed will join the company’s existing roster of Finnish artists such as Swallow The Sun, Ensiferum, Atlas and Stam1na.
